Francois Wertheimer

Working in Asia for the last 22 years, Francois is the founding partner of Capital Asia Partners. Prior to Capital Asia Partners, he was Group CFO of a major diversified Asian conglomerate with businesses in oil and gas, retail and shopping malls, and property and construction. Francois was previously Head of Investment Banking at BNP Paribas for South East Asia, and he also served as a Managing Director of Corporate Finance at HSBC as well as CEO of HSBC Indonesia, based in Jakarta. Francois started his career in New York with JP Morgan and then was at Dresdner Kleinwort Benson in London. Born and raised in France, Francois holds an MBA from Columbia University.

Patrice Egron

Working in Asia for the last 30 years, Patrice has a 47 years banking experience in Paris, New York, Jakarta and Singapore. He has an established track record in the banking industry in Corporate Banking, Investment Banking and Wealth Management with the Paribas Group, Deutsche Bank, Coutts and Julius Baer. Patrice has a good understanding of corporate issues which he has acquired while providing solutions to multinational corporations in the US and South East Asia. He also has a deep knowledge of family business matters having worked closely with families and family owned companies in Asia since 1991. Born in Germany and raised in France, Patrice holds a Bachelor degree in Law.

Mark Saunders-Davies

Working in Asia for the last 38 years, Mark has over 20 years banking experience in London, Hong Kong and Jakarta. He has an established track record in the banking industry, holding senior positions in corporate and investment banking with HSBC, Credit Lyonnais Securities Asia and Natwest Markets Asia. Following his tenure as a banker, Mark founded and developed a high-end furniture manufacturing company in Jakarta and a top-rated boutique villa resort in Bali. As an entrepreneur, Mark has developed practical skills in financial and operational management. Born in Canada, Mark is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.

Vijay Tandon

Vijay is an energy-focused investment banker with 23 years of experience in Europe and Asia. Vijay began his career with BP and then worked for Marathon Oil, Saga Petroleum and Western Geophysical in a variety of senior business development and finance roles. Vijay then led Ambrian Capital's energy practice in London and is a founding partner of SVS Oil & Gas. Vijay graduated from Imperial College with an MSc in Petroleum Engineering and he also holds an MBA from Erasmus University.

Pongsakorn Thiengtham

Pongsakorn has over 20 years experience in investment banking and corporate finance at leading international and Thai institutions such as UBS, Peregrine and Thanachart Capital. He also led  HSBC’s Investment Banking business in Thailand, and then subsequently served as President of Syrus Securities PCL. In the course of his career, Pongsakorn has advised on a number of major investments and M&A transactions by foreign companies in Thailand, and he has developed strong relationships with many of the leading local groups.

Frank Spann

Frank has 30 years international experience in the energy and natural resources industry in North America, Europe, Asia and Africa. A founding partner of InvestEnergy Ltd, Frank began his career with Gulf Oil Corporation and Chevron, and he then joined Amoco as Vice President and Commercial Director for Central Asia. He then became Senior Vice President at Nations Energy before being appointed CEO of Markmore Energy, an Asia based oil and gas Exploration and Production company. Mr. Spann graduated from Harvard University with an M.A.L.D. in International Law and Finance.

Herve Grosjean

Herve has over 20 years experience as an investment banker and a financial entrepreneur. He was in the Investment banking division of HSBC where he focused on mergers and acquisitions as well as equity and debt fund-raising for French and European corporates. He then developed and successfully exited a leading European Fintech involved in trading room management. He then co-founded Quartz Partners, a corporate finance advisory firm based in Paris and focusing on M&A, Equity and Debt fund-raising, and international expansion for French and European companies. Born and raised in France, Herve graduated from Institut d'Etude Politique de Paris.
